Tim Patston, son of the ASNSW’s founder, will be sharing the fascinating story of “The Origins of the Indigenous Planisphere.” Plus, you’ll even have the chance to purchase one of these unique planispheres!
Fred Watson, Australia’s very own celebrity astronomer, will delight us with the story of the Anglo-Australian Telescope, titled “More than a Big White Dome – 50 Years of the Anglo-Australian Telescope.” From star-studded discoveries to the telescope's vital role in modern astronomy, Fred's talk is not to be missed.
